Dream job. That’s what we call a project when a company like Alienware Corporation approaches our design studio and contracts us to create not one, but two fully-customized skin suites. Tell us that you’re going to ‘pre-install’ our work on a ton of high-end PCs – and we’re some very pleased artists.

The Alienware Teleport Windows Media Player 9 Series skin is one result of our endeavor to make Alienware’s desktop environment unlike any desktops that have come before.

To the core, both Alienware and The Skins Factory share a common love of all things science fiction and a clear-cut ambition to create the most innovative products in the marketplace.

The Skins Factory's Creative Director, W. Bart, began skin construction with a palette of lab whites and onyx blacks. He then constructed an introduction animation that is not only rich in genre sound effects, but contains two bi-directional, gyroscopic ring rotations. The animation utilizes over 135 individual animation frames. Pushing the creative envelope that other studios can only hope to keep up with? You betcha.
